Genesis GV70 facelift launched with 27-inch display

The updated GV70 will probably keep offering its 2.2-liter diesel, 2.5-liter turbocharged petrol, and 3.5-liter V6 turbocharged petrol engines to choose from.

Hyundai’s fancy brand, Genesis, has just given their GV70 SUV a bit of a makeover, about four years after it first came out in 2020. They’ve made some small but important tweaks to both the outside and the inside of the new GV70.

The GV70 SUV got a makeover to match the latest style from Genesis called ‘Athletic Elegance’. They changed the outside with a new grille design, fancy turn signals, and updated headlights. The front bumper got a facelift too, with more airflow and protection underneath. The wheels are new, but the rest of the sides look the same. In the back, they moved the turn signals to the tail lights for better visibility.

Inside, they put in a huge 27-inch screen that does everything – shows you maps, plays music, and tells you how fast you’re going. The buttons for the heating and cooling are now touch-sensitive, and the steering wheel looks fancier with a new logo and color scheme.

New Genesis GV70, specification and launch details

Genesis hasn’t told us exactly what’s under the hood of the new GV70 yet, but we think it will probably have the same engine options as before. The old GV70 had a 2.2-liter diesel, a 2.5-liter turbo-petrol, and a 3.5-liter V6 turbo-petrol to choose from. Genesis says they started selling the updated GV70 in Korea now after that it will be sold on other places.
