Check Out the Cool Look of the MG EXE181 Concept!

The EXE181 concept has a sleek design, with a smooth shell covering a single-seat cockpit. It’s inspired by the UFO-like EX181, with the driver sitting in a center bubble. The cockpit has a teardrop shape that extends into a sloping tail fin, which can lift up from the car’s body to act as an airbrake when slowing down from fast speeds. MG claims that the EXE181 has a really low drag coefficient of just 0.181.

Get to Know the MG EXE181 Concept: Inside Look, Specs, and How It Performs!

Inside, the EXE181 concept boasts a unique yoke-style steering wheel equipped with a touchscreen. Although MG hasn’t spilled all the details yet, from the images, it seems like there are four motors, one for each wheel. They’ve let slip that this hypercar can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 1.9 seconds, suggesting it packs a punch with over 1,000 horsepower. To put that in perspective, the Rimac Nevera hits 100 kilometers per hour in 1.81 seconds, thanks to its four electric motors churning out a whopping 1,914 horsepower combined.

As for the top speed, MG hasn’t given us the numbers for the EXE181 concept. However, they’ve hinted that it would outdo the EX181’s top recorded speed of 410 kilometers per hour, a record it set back in 1957.

New MG EXE181 Concept Launched, Facing Competition The MG EXE181 is still just an idea for now, so it’ll be a while before you see it on the road. When it does come out, it’ll be competing with other cool electric cars like the Rimac Nevera, Aspark Owl, and the new Tesla Roadster.
